About Prof. P. Krishna:

Prof. Krishna, originally from Chennai, India, spent his formative years in Indore,

where his parents worked in education. After completing his B.Sc. at Holkar

College, he pursued an M.Sc. in Physics at Delhi University, where he first

encountered and listened to Krishnamurti in 1957-58. Subsequently, he

embarked on a Ph.D. at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) while continuing to

attend Krishnamurti's talks at the Rajghat Education Centre in Varanasi.

Following the completion of his Ph.D., he joined the BHU Physics department as

a faculty member.

In 1985, Prof. Krishna, then a Physics professor at BHU, was entrusted by

Krishnamurti with the responsibility of overseeing the Rajghat Education Centre

as its Rector and serving as the Principal of the Rajghat Besant School. He held

these positions until 2003 and subsequently served as an INSA Honorary

Scientist at Indore University until 2007, when he was called back to lead the

Krishnamurti Study Centre at Rajghat. Prof. Krishna continued in this role until

his retirement in 2019. Throughout his career, he has delivered lectures

worldwide on Krishnamurti's teachings, science, society, and education.

As a Fellow of the Indian National Science Academy and a Trustee of the

Krishnamurti Foundation of India, Prof. Krishna has made significant

contributions to both the scientific and Krishnamurti communities. He is also a

lifelong member of the Theosophical Society. In 2015, he published a memoir
